What You'll Do:
Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design decisions.
- Implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.
DevOps Practices:
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Facilitate collaboration between development and operations.
- Utilise IaC practices with ARM, Bicep, and Terraform.
Network Management:
- Administer and optimise network configurations.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement continual security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and policies.
Platform Maintenance:
- Maintain applications, perform upgrades, and manage patches.
- Report on system health and performance.
Disaster Recovery and High Availability:
- Design and implement disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure high availability of critical systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Engage with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to enhance the platform.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience. An added benefit would be a background in Infrastructure or Network.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure services and tools.
- Experience with ARM, Bicep, Terraform, and IaC.
- Excellent understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., FortiGate, Checkpoint).
- Proven problem-solving skills using logging and telemetry data (e.g., Log Analytics).
- Experience managing multiple software products and platforms.
- Network maintenance and upgrade experience.
- Excellent technical skills in Windows Server, Exchange Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to manage and support team activities.
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Innovative approach to technology solutions.
