The Customer Partnerships Manager – Workplace will use data and insights to deliver new customers to the portfolio in line with the SBU strategy and occupier mix. This role involves identifying suitable customers and concluding lettings, exploring new markets and leasing models, and driving the occupier mix forward to reaffirm the destinational nature of our locations. The role also includes developing innovative customer collaborations and using technology and CRM systems to share insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification and delivery of new leasing opportunities using data and insights.
- Conclude new letting activities in line with customer mix/business plans and agreed parameters with the Asset team.
- Create new customer collaborations and partnerships, cultivating external contacts to grow business and promote The Crown Estate.
- Explore new markets and sectors with Group Partners to inform customer mix and sector allocations.
- Drive the evolution of different leasing models, including direct leasing and exploring various leasing options/structures.
- Populate CRM with key insights and activity updates, and articulate strategic themes from customer insights.
- Conduct due diligence on potential occupiers and make recommendations to the Asset Management team.
- Provide market commentary and leasing updates for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
- Liaise with Group Finance for covenant due diligence and projected financial performance on new leasing models.
- Develop customer contacts to facilitate cross-portfolio collaborations and thinking.
- Work with the Digital team on technological solutions for customer experience platforms/marketplaces.
- Act as the internal and external voice for customer supply/demand dynamics and keynote lettings.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the sector, using data and insights to market opportunities.
- Represent the Development team in delivering products tailored for the target audience.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a customer-centric environment with a commitment to delivering against customer expectations.
- Experience in delivering an asset strategy across diverse asset classes.
- Real estate or relevant professional qualification.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills internally and externally.
- Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and diplomacy.
- Understanding of key customer business groups and their decision-making drivers.
- Proven experience in business development across various sectors, including residential, retail, leisure, and office.
- Ability to identify and source new business opportunities aligned with a business development strategy.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups to develop and deliver customer-aligned products and services.
- Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently to achieve goals and objectives.
