Asset Manager – Offshore Transmission Owners (OFTO)

Purpose of role: As the Asset Manager - Offshore Transmission Owners(OFTO), you are responsible for cultivating business interests, fostering customer relationships, and driving revenue and capital value growth within the OFTO sector. Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including commercial negotiations, lease and license management, asset performance oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements.
Main Accountabilities:
- Manage day-to-day customer relationships across OFTO projects, Agreement for Lease (AFL), and leases, ensuring effective communication and engagement
- Oversee the day-to-day performance of assets, optimising their operation and ensuring alignment with performance metrics
- Fulfil asset reporting requirements, providing accurate and timely reports on asset performance and other relevant metrics
- Drive revenue generation and capital value growth by identifying and capitalising on business opportunities within the OFTO sector
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and risk management frameworks for assets, ensuring adherence to industry standards and guidelines
- Identify potential opportunities to optimise asset utilisation, performance, and value, contributing to overall business success
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract management, and compliance activities, ensuring agreements are aligned with company objectives
- Prioritise health and safety by conducting evidence-based assessments and
promoting a culture of safety within the OFTO sector - Align asset management practices with sustainability goals, contributing to the company's sustainability initiatives
Knowledge, skills & experience
- Proficiency in asset management, customer engagement and management, commercial negotiations, and contract compliance
- Strong understanding of the OFTO sector, including renewable export cables and associated infrastructure
- Effective communication and relationship management skills to engage with customers, stakeholders, and partners
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management
- Strong analytical skills to assess asset performance and drive optimization strategies
- Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and regulatory compliance
