The Senior Surveyor will be responsible for the property management of designated Regent Street assets. This role involves ensuring accurate property data and financial reporting, managing lease enforcement actions, and contributing to the overall strategy to drive income and reduce costs through efficiency.
Main Accountabilities:
- Accurate property data and financial reporting on designated assets, in accordance with RICS and Crown guidance.
- Manage lease enforcement to ensure timely rent collection and performance of obligations.
- Budgeting, implementing, managing, and reconciling service charges.
- Contributing to team meetings and developing new strategies for asset management.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Improving customer experience across the Central London Estate through high-quality communication and regular interaction.
- Promoting relationships with service partners to ensure optimum performance.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- MRICS qualification.
- Direct property management experience in an agency or owner setting.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law with applicable experience.
- Experience managing mixed-use, multi-let/occupied buildings.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- An appreciation of net zero, sustainability, and ESG.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements.
Capabilities:
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Professional and articulate, with the ability to engage with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Based in the London office, recognizing the need for a physical presence given the requirements of the Central London Estate and its customers.
