Purpose of the Role: As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering proactive asset management in line with our annual business plan and overarching regional strategy. Your mission will be to maximize financial, social, and environmental value while driving forward day-to-day oversight of assets and specific delegated activities and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize Value and Performance: Deliver asset-level strategies and plans in line with overall SBU strategy, ensuring financial, social, and environmental goals are met.
- Risk Management: Actively manage business risks, including health and safety, and take timely action when necessary.
- Financial Oversight: Take responsibility for asset-level P&L and performance tracking.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships, ensuring excellent service and value.
- Stakeholder Management: Support asset strategy through effective stakeholder relationships.
- Leasing and Projects: Oversee leasing to existing and new customers, manage small capex projects, re-gears, and lease events.
- Customer Mix Strategy: Shape and implement customer mix strategies based on data and insights.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee property valuation processes and support capital markets activities.
- Resource Coordination: Draw on internal and external resources to deliver business plans and maximize value.
- Transaction Management: See transactions through from instigation to completion.
What We’re Looking For:
- Customer Management: Experience managing a range of customers and developing partnerships that deliver value.
- Sector Experience: Background in property or real estate business, preferably with retail property experience.
- Asset Management: Proven ability to manage a range of assets and add value beyond financial metrics.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial/P&L management and commercial awareness.
- Communication Skills: Ability to write reports, make recommendations, and present concise summaries.
- Negotiation and Relationship Building: Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Resilient, diplomatic, and skilled at working both independently and as part of a team.
