We are currently seeking a Utilities Analyst - this is a 9 month fixed-term contract.
Are you experienced in utility administration with a focus on electricity? Do you have a knack for consumption analysis, supply management, allocation & recharge? If so, The Crown Estate has an exciting opportunity for you!
This role involves administering utility data across an assigned portfolio of assets. You will participate in the service charge budget and reconciliation processes, establish close working relationships with key stakeholders, and provide performance reports and insights for your portfolio.
Key Accountabilities:
- Administer utility data across an assigned portfolio of assets.
- Participate in the service charge budget and reconciliation processes.
- Establish close working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Undertake the expense management & customer apportionment for electricity recharges.
- Provide performance reports and insights for your portfolio.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Experience administering utilities and wider services including maintenance of meter data.
- Experience in a Service Charge support position.
- Knowledge of commercial and residential property types.
- Knowledge of MRI Horizon property management databases preferable, or an industry equivalent.
- Experience of challenging existing processes to continuously improve processes, frameworks, and procedures.
Capabilities:
- Demonstratable history of providing financial administration and analytics in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and track and report progress.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Able to understand and comprehend links between data fields, reporting, and financial outputs.
- Willing to participate in the ongoing development of best practise and process efficiency.
