We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team at the Windsor Farm Shop. Windsor Farm Shop offers a wide range of products sourced from British speciality producers, local artisans and the Windsor Farms. Founded by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 2001, we enjoy a unique position on the edge of the stunning Windsor Estate, housed within converted potting sheds which date back to the reign of Queen Victoria.

Plant Sales Casual - Windsor Farm Shop -
This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of presentation in our plant sales area.
Main Accountabilities:
- Offer an engaging and friendly welcome to customers.
- Maintain flowers and plants, including regular watering, pruning, and weeding to keep the plant sales area tidy and vibrant.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools.
- Assist in the implementation and delivery of horticulture-based projects and events, plus additional duties to support wider events and special promotions.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the plant sales area meets the expectations of our customers.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for staff and customers, including tasks such as cleaning, litter picking, and reporting building issues.
- Process transactions on the tills in an efficient and timely manner.
- Support the team to ensure stock is available and displayed well.
- Respond to and deal with customer complaints, seek support, and refer when necessary.
- Contribute to improvements in customer service.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- Enthusiastic about Windsor Great Park with an interest in history and what it has to offer to visitors.
- Highly customer-oriented.
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred.
- Passion for working with plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care.
- Ability to work well both in a team and individually and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to perform gardening tasks, including lifting and operating equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A good communicator with a confident, friendly approach.
- Calm and assertive.
- Willing to be flexible and versatile to provide support wherever and whenever needed.
- Basic IT skills.
- Proven experience in dealing with the public positively to resolve concerns.
