We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Group Finance Services team. If you’re passionate about service excellence, process optimisation, and team development, this could be your next career move.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and Inspire: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely, accurate processing of invoices, expenses, and payments.
- Drive Excellence: Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth within your team.
- Champion Change: Identify and implement process enhancements, champion automation, and support finance transformation initiatives.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain robust internal controls, support audit processes, and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, acting as the go-to expert for all Accounts Payable -related matters.
- Deliver Insight: Prepare and present clear, actionable reports to finance leadership, using data to drive performance and accountability.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems and Accounts Payable processes; experience with system upgrades or implementations is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
- Amazing analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly.
