Purpose of Role: As the Business Development Manager (CCS & Hydrogen) at TCE, you play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our CCS and hydrogen marketing offering. Your responsibilities encompass developing and executing strategic plans for market engagement, identifying new opportunities, and leveraging your technical expertise to shape leasing design parameters. By leading contract management and fostering customer relationships, you contribute to expanding our presence in the dynamic CCS and hydrogen sectors
Context of opportunity / Main accountabilities:
Drive the growth of our CCS and hydrogen marketing offering by developing and executing strategic plans for market engagement and new opportunity identification
Provide technical expertise to inform and shape the development of leasing design parameters, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer needs
Lead contract management activities, ensuring effective negotiation, execution, and compliance with contractual agreements to ensure successful delivery of projects by external consultants
Foster customer engagement and manage customer relationships through the Key Account Management (KAM) model, delivering exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for value creation
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence and shape sector strategies, leveraging your insights and technical knowledge of the CCS and hydrogen sectors to drive sustainable growth
Engage with external stakeholders, including industry partners and regulatory bodies, to enhance our presence and influence in the CCS and hydrogen sectors
Contribute to the optimisation of business processes and commercial strategies to maximise value and sustainability
Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams to ensure efficient sourcing and procurement practices in support of CCS and hydrogen initiatives
Most important skills based requirements:
Strong understanding of business development, customer engagement, stakeholder management, and commercial strategies in the CCS and hydrogen sectors
Technical expertise in CCS and hydrogen technologies, leasing design parameters, and contract management
Knowledge of CCS and Hydrogen policy
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
