Residential Property Manager - Leasehold Management (12 Month FTC)

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to join our Leasehold Management Team. This role is crucial in maintaining excellent relationships with third-party contacts, managing customer experiences, and overseeing various lease events and projects. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of occupancy and customer retention through effective management and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain relationships with property contractors, local community organizations, and small business groups.
- Manage customer experiences and various license to alter projects.
- Report on alterations, including premiums and contentious issues.
- Handle ad hoc queries across the long leasehold portfolio.
- Manage lease events such as renewals, re-gears, and disposals, liaising with the Asset Management Team.
- Oversee arrears cases and manage ad hoc projects, including covenant amendments and disputes.
- Supervise the Quinquennial Redecoration program and manage resident engagement and neighbourly matters.
- Conduct license to assign inspections and contribute to improving leasing management processes.
- Make strategic recommendations to enhance the rental value of the portfolio.
- Represent the company positively at external meetings and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Ensure all alterations, fit-outs, assignments, and sub-lettings comply with current legislation and case law.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience managing residential long leasehold properties.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-level customer service.
- Ability to engage in multiple initiatives and problem-solve effectively.
- RICS qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Landlord & Tenant matters.
- Experience handling challenging and high-pressure situations.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to engage professionally with a wide range of industry professionals.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
