Coffee Shop Supervisor – Windsor Farm Shop
Purpose of Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to lead the day-to-day operations of the Coffee Shop at Windsor Farm Shop. This role is key to delivering a seamless and high-quality customer experience, while providing operational guidance and support to the team.
Context of Opportunity / Main Accountabilities
- Lead and adapt daily operations to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Assign team responsibilities based on footfall to maintain service standards
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Conduct inductions for new team members and identify training needs
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure proper documentation
- Manage stock transfers, wastage records, and participate in stock takes
- Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures and complete due diligence paperwork
- Maintain and update risk assessments and communicate business updates
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues
- Open and close the Coffee Shop and act as duty manager when required
- Administer First Aid and follow emergency procedures
- Serve as a key holder for the Windsor Farm Shop
- Ensure adherence to Crown Estate policies, including cash handling and uniform standards
Most Important Skills-Based Requirements
- Experience leading teams in a busy, customer-facing environment
- Ability to coach and mentor team members to deliver excellent service
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP compliance
- Familiarity with stock control and rotation principles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, assertive, and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Organised with attention to detail
- Basic IT skills and valid food hygiene certification
