Join The Crown Estate team at the Windsor Farm Shop as a Farm Shop Assistant!
This is a permanent and full-time role working 40 hours per week 5 days out of 7 on a rota (working either Saturday or Sunday each weekend).

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team at the Windsor Farm Shop. Windsor Farm Shop offers a wide range of products sourced from British speciality producers, local artisans and the Windsor Farms. Founded by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 2001, we enjoy a unique position on the edge of the stunning Windsor Estate, housed within converted potting sheds which date back to the reign of Queen Victoria.

Purpose of the role: This varied and flexible role involves providing support to retail and deli operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.
Main Accountabilities:
- Offer an engaging and friendly welcome to customers.
- Operate the till in line with procedures.
- Ensure facilities are inviting and safe for visitors, including litter picking, checking toilets, and emptying bins.
- Maintain stock knowledge to offer advice to customers and maximize sales opportunities.
- Respond to and deal with customer enquiries.
- Support stock operations as required.
- Conduct all duties in a professional and safe manner, adhering to relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Complete health and safety checklists in line with Crown Estate policies and procedures.
- Operate consistently in line with our customer service standards.
- Contribute to improvements in customer service and overall operations.
- Ensure adherence to Crown Estate policies and procedures, including cash handling, uniform, and lost property.
- Undertake any other duties necessary to ensure delivery of customer service across Windsor Farm Shop operations.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- Strong customer service ethos.
- Experience working in a busy, front-line customer service environment desirable.
- Proven track record in an environment where the customer comes first desirable.
- Good communicator, confident, friendly, and approachable with the ability to engage with a wide variety of people.
- Flexible and versatile approach to provide support wherever and whenever needed.
- Organised with the ability to work on own initiative and effectively problem solve.
- Team player.
- IT literate.
- Food Hygiene level 2 desirable.
- Physically able to handle stock.
- Adaptable and collaborative style.
