Senior Financial Accounting Analyst (6 Month FTC)

Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for reconciliation and process improvement? We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to help shape the future of financial operations following a major system migration and insourcing project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by building robust reconciliation processes and contributing to automation and control initiatives that support The Crown Estate’s strategic ambition to modernise and enhance data integrity.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive service charge reconciliations and support lease accounting improvements.
- Perform ledger clean-ups, JV consolidation entries, and capital reallocations.
- Prepare and review accurate balance sheet reconciliations and insightful financial reports.
- Support and deliver cross-functional projects and ad-hoc initiatives.
- Champion automation and simplification across financial processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.
- Excellent reconciliation skills and a forensic approach to financial integrity.
- Experience in a group finance function, large private company, or practice.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and confident communication.
- Experience with process change and ERP systems (preferred).
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
